Mrs. McWilliams - 3rd Grade Team Leader
Hi! My name is Sarah McWilliams. I was born and raised right here in Howard County. After graduating high school, I went to Drexel University for in Philadelphia to pursue my Bachelor's degree. I continued at Drexel for my Master's in Instruction. While I was at Drexel I also had the opportunity to play and coach for their women's lacrosse team.
I started teaching in Howard County in 2010 at Forest Ridge Elementary. Although I loved my time at "The Ridge", I am thrilled to be a part of opening Ducketts Lane!
In my free time I love to play and watch sports. I also love being outdoors and staying active. In the fall though, my favorite thing to do is cheer for the RAVENS!

Ms. Cho - 3rd grade Teacher
Hi! My name is Veronica Cho. I am excited to be your English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year! I mostly grew up in Laurel, MD, but lived in South Korea for 6 years as a child so I'm fluent in Korean. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at University of Maryland, College Park. Currently, I am working on receiving my Master’s degree in Educational Technology at Loyola University.
This is my fifth year teaching and it has been an incredible experience, thus far. I truly enjoy working with children. I believe yet another wonderful journey will begin at Ducketts Lane ES in the fall and I am excited to be a part of this community!
In my spare time, I like to watch movies, go shopping, and travel with friends. Recently, I've been enjoying playing board games and rock climbing at Climbzone! Also, I like being involved at my church whether it’s teaching Sunday school or going on mission trips. I am definitely looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to meet my new students. :)
